Pristine Skeletons Shed Light on Early Dinosaur Evolution

In the December 11, 2009, issue of Science, a team of paleontologists introduced the Triassic dinosaur Tawa hallae, an animal that may answer longstanding questions about the earliest years of dinosaur evolution. The Tawa fossils, collected along with other specimens during recent field excursions to Ghost Ranch in New Mexico, are some of the most complete and best preserved dinosaur skeletons from the Late-Triassic time period.

What I love about science are the constant new discoveries. For some, it's scary, but not for me!

great... now we ave two more 'missing links'

Any fossil that represents part of a lineage that is still present is a "missing link". Each new fossil aids in the understanding of the evolution of life on Earth.

and the importance of understanding the evolution of life is ?

Satire?

If you understand what happened in evolution, you can understand what environmental changes impacted the population. Part of the information gathered from evolution is carried in our genes.

Evolution is the foundation science for botany, biology and physiology.

Sometimes, just knowing something is reward enough. Who could not want that?

Crap--It won't help us to learn how to live forever ?

Oh those pesky scientists have done it again.

UPDATE 1-Gene maps to transform scientists' work on cancer | Reuters

The lung tumour carried more than 23,000 mutations and the melanoma had more than 33,000.

And we know what they call a bunch of mutations? That's right, "Evolution". Next think you know, people will start believing "Noah's Ark" is really a children's fable. Naw!
