I actually probably would laughed and said they are probably from Texas. I am smart enough to know Bush was not trying indoctrinate my child. Here it is right on youtube....and you don't get it, Luissa, it's called indoctrination. But....I do understand that coming from the wacko's.
So five dudes, and one classroom is indoctrination? Did Obama have anything to do with either one?
If not for Obama....they wouldn't have done it.
But, I will present the arguement to you as I did for Dawg.
I'm sure the adults had nothing to do with these kids doing this, right?
I think you would have had a real issue if this kind of stuff was done under the Bush administration, Luissa....I would have, too. But that is the difference between myself and you.
I still don't think you will have a clue, nor would you admit it.
So I guess Chanel is the only non partisan hack in this thread. We should give her a prize for not being a complete loon. I say wine, because the sane people in this thread will need it soon.

So Obama had nothing to do with either situation? So how is Obama trying to indoctrinate our children? I hear Xanax works real well.

Are you saying that your non partisan, also?
Let the fear mongering begin, again!
Presidents Back To School Speech Scheduled For Sept 14th
Last year President Obamas nationally televised speech to school children caused many conservatives like Michelle Malkin, Glenn Beck, and even Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty to go apoplectic over what some claimed, bizarrely, was an attempt at indoctrination. As it turned out, the speech a fairly innocuous address that basically just encouraged kids to do their best. Of course, that still caused some people to consider it the outrage of the day.
Well, they better brush off their old arguments, because the President will be making another speech to school children on September 14th
The White House says the president wants to speak directly to students as they resume their fall studies. And he wants to encourage them to study hard, stay in school and take responsibility for their education.
Last year, the president told students in a speech from Arlington, Va., that each of them had something they were good at, and something to offer the country.
So I guess Chanel is the only non partisan hack in this thread. We should give her a prize for not being a complete loon. I say wine, because the sane people in this thread will need it soon.

When it comes to this kind of stuff, I am. I wouldn't care if Bush or any other Republican President spoke to my child's school or made a speech for the beginning of school. Which I have stated multiple times in this thread.
And no where did I claim I am not partisan, on other issues I probably am, everyone is at some point. This issue isn't a political issue though, it is the President making a speech about staying in school and doing your homework. This should not be a right/left issue, it shouldn't be an issue at all.
She said that 50% of the people don't give a shit about what the President says. I proved that to be very wrong and showed why. Did I ever say I don't give a shit about what Palin says? C'mon now don't try to divert with this kind of stuff.
You said:
Actually no one cares what he says more than the right and especially the extremists on this site. You hang on his EVERY word and start threads about anything he says.
And so I said
You mean like the left does with Sara Palin?
where was the diversion?
The diversion is, when did I ever claim that 50% of the people don't care what Sarah Palin says? That's my point.
This should not be a right/left issue, it shouldn't be an issue at all.

EVERYTHING that Obama does is an issue for the extremists of this site. The mainstream conservatives are not up in arms about Obama speaking to kids nor are they keeping their kids home that day. They, unlike many of the closed-minded here, are aware that there are FAR more important things to worry about.
So now the teachers union is trying to indoctrinate kids for Obama supposedly.
Seriously Meister, if this is all your evidence that Obama or the Unions or whatever are trying to indoctrinate the kids then it is really paltry on your part.
Never mind the fact you're trying to say there is a correlation between these incidents and Obama (as POTUS) telling kids to work hard and stay in school.
This should not be a right/left issue, it shouldn't be an issue at all.
But Obama might make a comment about sharing toys with fellow classmates, obvious socialism.

you didnt, but I see you diverting from the point I was making. Your criticism was about how the far riught grasps on to every word Obama says and I compared it to how the left grasps on to every word Palin says. It was pretty much pointing out to you that both sides do it.
But no harm no foul. I meant no harm by it. appreciate the point you were making and I apologize if I seemed to divert from it.

I never said that at all, Dawg, I said that some teachers, and some schools are, and backed it with videos. These teachers are members of a teachers union which have received plenty of money from this administration. There lies the teachers union and obama connection.
