[Barack Obama never makes a wasted move or utters a wasted phrase, but he used the infamous "Peace in our time" phrase to evoke Neville Chamberlain, the British Prime Minister who, by his inane surrender of the Czech people to Hitler making WWII inevitable, then came home waving the worthless piece of paper Hitler had signed promising "No More War" while ridiculously promising the English people "Peace In Our Time" in his inaugural speech today. Perhaps he did it to bait the Right, as he did with his endless "Rope A Dope" birth certificate maneuvering.
The Media certainly won't call him on it. The makers of Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis advise all their users to seek medical help for an erection lasting longer than four hours. How do all the Obama fanatics in the media, who undoubtedly endure the same dire event when in Obama's presence for longer than four hours, manage?
Can't get any more ominous and foreboding than by using that phrase. The only problem this time will be that the Americans who still cherish their freedom and their liberty will have to fight a Civil War at home against would be oppressors at home before they can defend themselves from the would be oppressors from abroad.]

"If you did not already know that the President has no grasp of history, no knowledge of what he is saying, this should help confirm it.

According to the transcript released by the White House, President Obama channeled Neville Chamberlain, using the phrase "peace in our time" to tout his reelection.

We will support democracy from Asia to Africa, from the Americas to the Middle East, because our interests and our conscience compel us to act on behalf of those who long for freedom. And we must be a source of hope to the poor, the sick, the marginalized, the victims of prejudice. Not out of mere charity, but because peace in our time requires the constant advance of those principles that our common creed describes.
As you certainly remember, the short-sighted Prime Minister of Great Britain, Neville Chamberlain promised the very same thing, just a single year before the most destructive war in history ripped Europe to sunders.

Prime Minister Chamberlain explained, after giving much of Czechoslovakia to Nazi Germany (emphasis mine):

My good friends, for the second time in our history, a British Prime Minister has returned from Germany bringing peace with honor. I believe it is "peace for our time."
The parallels are plain for anyone to see. The President's often weak stance on Iran. The rise of Islamic-Fascism during the Arab Spring, which Mr. Obama has supported. His distancing from Israel."

Great moments in progressive speeches.
Progressives have no clue as to history so they have no clue as to even who Chamberlain was let alone what he said and what happened afterwards.

"And we must be a source of hope to the poor, the sick, the marginalized, the victims of prejudice–not out of mere charity, but because peace in our time requires the constant advance of those principles that our common creed describes: tolerance and opportunity; human dignity and justice."
