President Trump Delivers Remarks On Opioid Crisis In New Hampshire

nope that is not the job of the government.
Trump also thought it was stupid.

I’m glad you two could agree on something. :)

That would make the 4th, maybe 5th thing we have agreed on since his win.
Oh? What were the others?

I liked the choice of Gorsuch, I like the idea of privatizing ATC, I liked his choice for SecDef...seems there is one more but I cannot think of it off the top of my head
That’s a good start.

4 out of a couple thousand actions..not a good percentage.

Like I said earlier, let us know your thoughts of his speech when you can. I thought it was informative and spot-on.

His comments about using the death penalty for drug dealers also made perfect sense.

Many states already have laws that allow for anyone associated with a crime that involves the death of someone, be charged with murder.
Why did Trump write a letter of recommendation for a convicted cocaine dealer if he's so concerned about drug abuse?

Trump, Who Talks About Executing Drug Dealers, Vouched For Two of Them

"The cocaine dealer was Joseph Weichselbaum. He was indicted for heading a Colombia-Miami-Middle America cocaine ring in 1985, even the helicopter service owned by him and his brother Franklin was getting more than $2 million a year from Trump to ferry high rollers to and from his casinos in Atlantic City.

"The charges against Joseph Weichselbaum were brought in Cincinnati, but after he pled guilty there, the case was mysteriously transferred to New Jersey for sentencing and assigned to Trump’s sister, Judge Maryanne Trump Barry.

"She recused herself two weeks later, reportedly in part because she and her husband had taken rides in Weichselbaum choppers..."

"'A credit to the community… conscientious, forthright and diligent,' Trump wrote in a missive first reported by the late, great Wayne Barrett.

"More minor participants in the drug ring were hit with as much as 20 years.

"But the kingpin Weichselbaum got just three years.

"He served only 18 months and then was released to a halfway house."
Assuming that’s true, cocaine isn’t an opioid. He also talked about criminals getting a second chance.
Did you watch the vid?
No, sorry, 43 minutes of Trump is a little too much for me.

Did he mention the Sackler family?

The Sackler family made billions from OxyContin. Why do top US colleges take money tainted by the opioid crisis?
