I have noticed that both the President and the former Secretary of State set a good example for all of us: When they come down the ramp of an airplane, they carefully hold on to the railing.
I was always nervous whenever I saw (on live television) President Obama getting off an airplane. He usually ran down the ramp, often with his hands in his pockets!
I never did understand why no one apparently (not even the First Lady?) ever "ordered" him to stop such a dangerous practice.

I remember seeing President Gerald Ford slip on the ramp, but fortunately it was at the very bottom of the ramp, so he was not injured. (And besides, he was a former football player.)
