De la Rua's sudden downfall yesterday came amid Argentina's worst unrest in a decade. Rioters looted houses and stores in other cities, and more than 200 people were injured nationwide. "I'm delighted he's finally gone. Thank God!" said Maria Andrejuk, who was among those celebrating after tensions eased across much of Buenos Aires. But as night fell, some looting persisted.
