President Obama's lobbying reforms praised by Congressional Research Service

I remember when political discourse relied on much more than ad hom, strawmen and cutesy pictures ....

No wonder the far right has lost all intellectual credibility.

and look at the pathetic, desperate attempts to turn the thread toward anything EXCEPT the fact that Obama is making documented progress in battling the influence of lobbyists .................

So, you can't refute the claim, just blow smoke about the people who report on what a fraud this administration is, and deflect with some more of the old far leftist kook bullshit.

Good job, Jehtro.

DUD.......e

The market has made a decent rebound, we've got some modestly encouraging unemployment figures coming out, and now some evidence of some concrete progress in the battle to limit the influence of lobbyists ......

Nothing worth throwing a party over yet - but so far so good.

Why is that so hard for the rapid right to swallow?

The "evidence" is a bunch of ad homs tossed at the likes of Grover Norquist and a completely irrelevant pic of Michell Malkin.

Whoop-de-fucking-do.

Two weeks ago, Hot Air reported exclusively on a joint effort between Americans for Tax Reform and Alliance for Worker Freedom to demand an investigation of Andy Stern, president of the SEIU, for illegal lobbying with Congress and the White House.

Why We Are Publishing This Article by David Horowitz

On the basis of the evidence assembled here, it seems beyond dispute that Grover Norquist has formed alliances with prominent Islamic radicals who have ties to the Saudis and to Libya and to Palestine Islamic Jihad, and who are now under indictment by U.S. authorities. Equally troubling is that the arrests of these individuals and their exposure as agents of terrorism have not resulted in noticeable second thoughts on Grover’s part or any meaningful effort to dissociate himself from his unsavory friends.

So why does the Right Online National Conference, which is being held August 14 and 15 in Pittsburgh, feature Norquist as a keynote speaker, along with columnist Michelle Malkin, Joe the Plumber, two writers for the Wall Street Journal, Ed Morrissey of the soft-conservative website HotAir.com, and others?
