President Obama's Legacy: $20 Trillion in Debt for 2016
Forbes ^ | 12/25/12 | Paul Roderick Gregory

The fiscal-cliff negotiations have deteriorated into an embarrassing travesty of competing press conferences, off-the-record remarks, closed meetings, and sound bites. The Republican side is frustrated and flabbergasted by the absence of a concrete proposal from the President that can be scored by the Congressional Budget Office and then “marked up” by Congress according to standard procedures. Vague offers of so and so many trillions of revenue increases and spending cuts spread over a decade are just words, not real proposals.

look, its simple math.

The GOP has not voted for a tax increase since 1980. With this fact lets move forward to today. 3 wars in the middle east, tax breaks like we have never seen which equals a loss of revenue.

How can you start all these wars, lower revenue while raising spending habits across the board. Its complete incompetence to think this is how you run a nation.

See, the GOP sells its self as the fiscally responsible party while their track record shows quite the contrary. And Americans are paying notice. SO blame Obama all you want, the writing is on the wall. GOP math is false.

well, I can back up the last tax hike a Republican voted for. The rest is common knowledge, or should be as its not exactly old news.

in October 1990, Senator Pete V. Domenici turned from a conversation on the Senate floor, caught the eye of a clerk by raising his right hand and voted in favor of a huge and contentious bill to reduce federal deficits. Then he put his hand back into his pocket and returned to the conversation

So there you have it. Not voting for a tax hike since 1990, while starting wars and growing Government equals a huge debt. Dude, seriously, you are a sharp guy, this is not on Obama.

edit: I had posted 1980 in my previous post, my mistake. 1990 is correct.

For all of you hyper-partisans who think Barack Obama walks on water.. Guess what? He doesn't. He has sunk this country even further in to the craphole with his wreckless spending. He's as bad as George Bush on steroids but you all just sit around lying, pretending that it's ok because he's your guy. YOU are the problem in this nation and those like you.
