The only way this economy starts creating "private" sector JOBS is for the Presidential teleprompter to announce that the federal government is going to LOWER the corporate tax rate from it's current 36% to 25% & to allow small business in this country aka sub-S corporations to 20% HELLO!--:lol:

Tell me who has a so called jobs summit and doesn't invite the Chamber of Commerce or the national Federation of Independent Business?Critics not invited to White House 'jobs summit' - Washington Times

This is just another idiotic Obama spectacle.

Is this a trick question?

It's astonishing the level to which these guys are just plain clueless. They don't seem to understand that business people, or anybody for that matter, hires someone to do a job only when there is a job to do.

The Big 0 seems to think that there are millions of jobs just waiting around to have people put in them and billions of dollars being hoarded away in unpaid payroll that business people are socking away at the pain and suffering of the masses.

The problem is that as long as we have people running the place who don't understand how the thing works, we are going to have suffering.

It's like having a bus driver who doesn't understand the purpose of the steering wheel.

There may well be some businesses that would hire, in fact, I'll bet there are.

But these businesses see bills like the so called health care reform which is nothing but a hike in insurance premiums and taxes and the Waxman cap and tax bill as well as other bills that will add to the cost of hiring and doing business and have decided to wait it out with low staffs and low inventories.

businesses need to feel some sense of predictability and quite frankly some sort of upside in the future before risking capital and Obama just ain't fostering that type of environment right now.

This is just another in a long line of screw ups for The Barry. He thinks that, magically, when he says "The recession is over and we are recovering." that people will just start spending money again.

***NEWS FLASH FOR THE IDIOTS IN THE WHITE HOUSE***

Now that you have sucessfully screwed over small business owners with a threat of a 5 fold increase in their taxes no ones going to have a job for quite some time. You made your bed...now sleep in it!!!

I work with people from various businesses. In every case that is not seasonal, the payrolls were cut over the last year. The payrolls have been coming back over the last period of months, but few jobs are being added. What's up with that?

Business owners know that they have actual real people employed who have actual real people as wives and children who have actual real needs like food, shelter and benefits.

In one case in particular, the business owner had a staff that was working 7 days with overtime and a bunch of temporary workers when the decline began. In the mean time since, he has done away with all of the temporary workers, but for all of the permanent workers he has slowly cut back the shifts so now the folks are working no overtime on a 4 day work week.

Everybody works less, takes home less and still have their benefits. To create jobs at this factory, the staff will need to go back to full shifts and have additional overtime and when the need arises, hire back the temporary workers. It will require an approximate increase in the work to do of about 35% before a single additional job will be created.

Added jobs come from added work which comes from added orders which comes from added spending to buy the orders.

The Big 0 has no idea how this works. Any stimulus package needs to stimulate spending. The 700 billion plus that we just pissed away did nothing except fill the graft pipline for his cronies. The whole country now works like Chicago.

Is it 2010 yet?

Just wait until Cap+Trade kicks in, then UHC, and you will see more jobs lost. Businesses just don't have the money to cover new workers. Many States also have hiring freezes, so I really feel for this year's graduates trying to find a job. The DC whores really screwed-up the economy. I don't see any quick fixes, just a lot of job-creating incentives, aka "corporate welfare".

No kiddin!!! Clueless.

Get ready for the administration to point out that .2% drop in unemployment, it's seasonal, retailers are hiring extra people for the Christmas season and they will be laid off again come January.
