The country is celebrating, this morning, the inauguration of President Omer Al Bashir for a new presidential term that extends for five years after his great victory in the elections that took place last April. A number of heads of state and representatives of the other countries are taking part in the inauguration ceremony in addition to a number of regional and international organizations.
Field Marshal Omer Hassan Ahmed Al Bashir was born on January 1, 1944, founded the National Congress Party after the military coup in June 1989, where Al Bashir assumed, after the coup, president of the National Salvation Revolution Council, he was re-elected in the first elections in 2010.
Al Bashir graduated from the Sudanese Military Academy in 1967, then he had the master of military science in 1987, military science master, Malaysia, 1983, participated in Arab-Israeli War in 1973, and worked in the United Arab Emirates.
He worked in the Western Command from 1967 until 1969, then airborne troops from 1969 to 1987, appointed commander of the Eighth Infantry Brigade during the period from 1987 to June 30, 1989 before the military coup against the government of Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi, in collaboration with Hassan Al-Turabi and his party. In accordance with the Constitution the president combines between his position and the position of prime minister.
Al Bashir's rule was subjected to many coups notably, Ramadan coup" in 1990, but the coup failed, All Bashir dissolved parliament, which was headed by Turabi, in 1999.

Al Bashir was conducted serious negotiations with the SPLM, led by the late John Garang, where those talks led to the signing of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA), which provided for the right of self-determination for the southerners, where the referendum resulted in the secession of Southern Sudan. President Al Bashir was the first president to announce his blessing and support of the new state of South Sudan.
President Al Bashir launched, in January 2014 initiative to unify national ranks and reach a formula to stop war between the Sudanese, and he stressed his support for the dialogue.

Al Bashir has to consider many of the files, top of which is the national reconciliation to achieve national consensus and approve a permanent constitution for the country, in addition to achieving development and provide a decent life for the people.
