Why not tell congress directly rather than grandstand for the media? If he'd actually negotiate with congress in good faith rather than marginalize his coequal branch of government he might actually be doing his job.

I see the words 'congressional leaders' in that linked piece, but I don't see where Obama specifies the three Republicans you mention in your thread title, or where he excludes the Democratic leaders in Congress from the comment.
