I am so elated to see the greatest president in the history of the world, President Bush, making a comeback. I just wish he had had more time to complete his program.

Why do we have 2 million federal employees and 20 million federal "contractors"? My guess is most of these jobs can be eliminated, and the rest they could outsource to India and even Mexico and save trillions.

We also need a major round of pay cuts across the board in this country. We make far too much money for our own good. Everyone, except business owners of course, should take a major pay cut, including the radical left doctors and professors and lawyers etc. Then we need to abolish the "minimum wage," which just keeps our business owners from hiring more people. If you're careful, it's easy to eat on $1 a day, if you skip all the fancy foods and cigarets.

We have to roll back socialist heath care and everyone needs to pay for themselves if they want to go to the doctor. Or go to your church and they'll help you.

We need to ban the unions, which are destroying America with their demands.

We need to eliminate taxes, especially for our business owners because they create our jobs, not the government.

Then we need to privatize schools, police and fire. If you want their services, then you pay for it. Why should I pay for you?

Obama just doesn't get it. We voted against socialist marxism. Bye bye socialists. Maybe some of you need to be in prison.

It seemed that way when I was a kid. I was 14 and in high school when another student came into my math class and whispered something in my teacher's ear. Then the teacher said, "The president has been shot". At that point we didn't know if he was dead or alive. They sent us home. When I was walking home from school it was so creepy. Very quiet, no car horns. That was an unforgettable day.

I am glad that Bush didn't scare the kids. It was better to finish the book and then tell everybody in a quiet, easy manner. I doubt if 7 minutes made any difference one way or another.

When I heard the news about planes crashing into the WTC I was in a public middle school in the "earth science" classroom where the teacher read us Christian children's books (it's south carolina). We turned on the TV in the classroom and watched it until they announced it was a terrorist attack.

My thoughts were: "We're about to start an unwinnable war." Little did I know, we were about to start two wars supposedly fighting against a loosely organized conglomerate of anti-american groups without countries or even any important centers of operation.
