Prep Alert - Candles In Your Car

As many people do...I keep some large emergency candles in my truck...just in case I'm ever stuck in my truck over night.

I tested a few candles that were frozen solid...the wax doesn't melt fast enough and the wicks burn out...POOF you are SCREWED!

SOLUTION: Keep a tiny amount of veggie-oil in your car...Put a few drops of oil on the frozen wick & then light the candle.

The wick uses the oil as fuel & keeps the wick from burning out...the extra time will melt the candle wax & you are good.

I just figured this out this morning.

I'm glad I test my preps from time to time! I put an ounce of veggie oil in a tiny glass jar & threw it in the glove compartment.
