Here are two prayers or poems that I have saved from long ago. They were sent to me by my sister-in-law about 7-8 years ago. I do not know the aurther or aurthers, nor do I know the titles. I tried to look them up but found nothing online.

Help me now lord, I ask, oh so humble.
Demolish the stones on which that I stumble.

Take my hand and lead me now,
away from my sins for short of glory art thou. (I believe they used the word 'thou' wrongly refering to their sin, but needed something to go with 'now')

I trust in you lord, to pick me up from the rubble,
and comfort me in my deep darkest trouble.

I glorify your name. Show me what more I need to do,
for I deem unworthy to be in the presence of you.

Thank you, oh Christ, for salvation so sweet,
for paying the price of this mere mortal obsolete.

The past is a rock but today is wet clay,
which I will mold in your name for that is the way.

He walks with us, he is our comfort.

The road of life may take us where we do not care to go.
Up rocky paths, down darkened trails our steps unsure and slow.

But our dear Lord extended his hands to hold, to help, to guide us.
We never have to feel alone for he walks close beside us.

Precept Dedication Prayer
by Shantideva, revised by His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama

May all beings everywhere,
Plagued by sufferings of body and mind,
Obtain an ocean of happiness and joy
By virtue of my merits.
May no living creature suffer,
Commit evil or ever fall ill.
May no one be afraid or belittled,
With a mind weighed down by depression.

May the blind see forms,
And the deaf hear sounds.
May those whose bodies are worn with toil
Be restored on finding repose.

May the naked find clothing,
The hungry find food.
May the thirsty find water
And delicious drinks.

May the poor find wealth,
Those weak with sorrow find joy.
May the forlorn find hope,
Constant happiness and prosperity.

May there be timely rains
And bountiful harvests.
May all medicines be effective
And wholesome prayers bear fruit.

May all who are sick and ill
Quickly be freed from their ailments.
Whatever diseases there are in the world,
May they never occur again.

May the frightened cease to be afraid
And those bound be freed.
May the powerless find power
And may people think of benefiting each other.

Just to balance things with the opposite end of the spectrum!

From Deicide :

God is the reason we live in dismay
It is his will that this world's suffering
If we do not believe what you foretell
We can expect afterlife will be hell

You are the one who killed his own son
We are the ones you're blaming it on
Lust was created beginning with hymn
When we indulge we are guilty of sin
Torture our lives with confusion and lies
Mass contradiction, religious facades

BLAME IT ON GOD
BLAME IT ON GOD
BLAME IT ON GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LIAR

Lord of salvation keep looking away
It is your will that this world goes astray
Take us each day from this place you unworthed
Unfulfilled promise of heaven on earth

You are the one who killed your own son
We are the ones your hatred is on
Children are dying and this you're content
Where is your profit in what you have left
No intervention from angels above
God is the reason that Satan lives on

Another dedication prayer.

"Throughout my many lives and until this moment, whatever virtue I have accomplished, including the merit generated by this practice, and all that I will ever attain, this I offer for the welfare of sentient beings.

May sickness, war, famine and suffering be reduced for every being and may wisdom and compassion always arise for them. May they quickly become enlightened in order to benefit all sentient beings."

Eight Verses of Thought Transformation

With the thought of attaining enlightenment for the welfare of sentient beings, who are more precious than a wish fulfilling jewel, I will constantly practice holding them dear.

Whenever I am with others, I will practice seeing myself as the lowest of all and from the very depth of my heart, I will respectfully hold others as supreme.

In all actions, I will examine my mind and the moment a disturbing attitude arises, endangering myself and others, I will firmly confront and avert it.

Whenever I meet a bad person who is overwhelmed by negative energy and intense suffering, I will hold such a rare one dear, as if I had found a precious treasure.

When others, out of jealousy, mistreat me with abuse, slander, and so on,I will practice accepting defeat and offering the victory to them.

When someone I have benefitted and in whom I have placed great trust hurts me badly, I will practice seeing that person as my supreme teacher.

In short, I will offer directly and indirectly every benefit and happiness to all beings, my mothers. I will practice in secret taking upon myself all their harmful actions and sufferings

Without these practices being defiled by the eight worldly concerns, by perceiving all phenomena as illusory, I will practice without grasping to release all beings from the bondage of the disturbing, unsubdued mind and karma.

"Pieta"
I.

If Virtue had an image
I'm sure it would be you
I'm but a stained glass window
Meant to be looked into
But you're a finer vintage
To be looked through
Through and through

And when I look what do I see
A glimpse of what I ought to be
A soul untouched by bias
Of beauty in the highest
So humble and so pious
Of perfect clarity

II.

One look at you and I regret
My stains of purple, gold, and red
Painful patterns so refined
They wake the heart
And stir the mind
Yet I would leave them all behind
To stand up there with you
In silent solitude

You bear no scars that I can see
I wear mine like a tapestry
We'd match if you could mirror me
But only from across the room
And never side by side
Piety next to pity
Prayer next to pride

III.

As I renounce all that I am
The lion bows before the lamb
Satan now repents to God
And cruel tyrants spare the rod
Mercy kills what hate cannot
Destroying every evil thought
Where once before I fiercely fought
I now submit to you
In willful servitude

So take my stained glass panels
Arrange them as you please
To tell the story of God's glory
Bringing angels to their knees.

A Message from the Universe

Behind the Iron Curtain,
Beyond the Fall of Rome,
There's Hope in the uncertain,
And Truth in the unknown.

Beneath the stars and planets,
Along the coral reef,
A method calms the madness,
And war gives in to peace.

Fear not my changing surface
For what may lie below,
But trust a higher Purpose
That you already know.

and two more on human spiritual history, and breaking the cycle of sin and suffering:

The Tree of Life

I am an ancient Dreaming Tree,
Who dreams of tales once told to me.
My roots go down in history
Before they counted centuries.

The oldest tale that I can weave
Concerns Sir Adam's Lady Eve,
Who made the bold discovery
That sex controlled heredity.

She found out from some fruity tree
(Of no relation close to me!).
She shared this secret with her man
And that's when trouble soon began.

He fought his shame with sword and shield
Empowering Church and State to wield
The right to make whole Kingdoms yield
In battles fought upon this field.

So many lost, so many grieve;
I'm forced to stand and count.
I can't make like a man and leave
When horsemen start to mount!

My arms I throw to God's great skies
But can't reach Mother Earth.
If you can teach this lesson wise,
That joy my grief is worth.

My favour carry in your tourneys:
Speak with love on all your journeys.
Teach your foe to be your friend,
And fight for truth with ink and pen.

I'll be the paper that you need
To print these words for all to read.
Take life from me, and not from men;
From seeds of peace, I'll bloom again.
============================

"Genocide"

Before Eve was made to stand by Adam’s side
There was Lilith who refused to be his bride
Brought up equally with knowledge of the earth
Of life and death and cycles of rebirth

But then Satan made a serpent out of her
To pour God’s wrath upon the daughters of the earth
Raging genocide against the goddess tribes
Who were sacrificed before Christ

Once Eve and Adam fell from heaven’s grace
Heads of church and state arose to take their place
Passing laws from fathers to their oldest sons
To control their wives and property as one

While the antichrist draws power by the sword
False prophets sanction violence by God’s word
From the matriarchs to the patriarchs
Bearing sacred scars from “holy wars”

It took Jesus Christ descending into hell
To dispel the myths concealing God’s true will
Healing wounds to raise the dead and bring new life
Until no more blood is shed or sacrificed

How long can we
Covet land and colonize the poor
While children are
Sold or worked to death on sweatshop floors

Modern genocide of the weaker tribes
We still sacrifice after Christ
Falsely justified in the name of Christ
Who was crucified to end this strife

How long can we
Condemn the common poor
And leave the meek
To hang at heaven’s door

Like the genocide of the native tribes
Who were sacrificed after Christ
Falsely justified in the name of Christ
Who was crucified to end all strife?
