How does Russia see us, they are former Communist, their view should be objective given the experience they have suffered. The whole world appears to want us to fail. They relish the idea, and in times of economic depression how will the rest of the world view us, especially if they think our president purposely destroyed the economy. What will world opinion be in four years, if the dollar collapse destroys the wealth of their country. A weak or failed United States of America will not have friends in the world, our enemies will become vultures.

When I think of places to seek economic advice, the plutocracy, plunder and abject poverty of daily Russian life outside the plutocrats doesn't come to mind.

It's not surprising, however, that the modern American conservative would find appeal in such a system of empowered wealth and powerless middle class.

Shrewd observations. However, the author leaves one thing out, and that's that the American people just sent the Soros sock puppet obama a message, and that's that we don't want any more of their economy busting, dollar ruining, marxist agenda by electing a record breaking number of conservatives. The fucking brakes are about to get slammed on, on the marxist agenda, so these Russians better hold on before they get all wet in the crotch about America going bust.

Well, they would know best how to recognize the plutocracy, plunder and abject poverty of Marxism put into practice.

Here in America, leftist politicians, navel gazing ivory tower-dwelling academics and their useful idiot willing accomplices in the media still cravenly refer to such plutocracy, plunder and abject poverty as "progressive".

The current batch of Russian leaders? Nah. They'd be lucky to spell Marxism in their native tongue. They only know the plunder involved with unfettered "privatization" - the exchanging of an oppressive dictatorship of government with an oppressive dictatorship of plutocrats by 'lawful' pillaging of the commons.

Which would make them experts on recognizing when others are doing it.

Not at all unlike when fake American "liberals" screech about people in that other party spending like drunken sailors and selling out to K Street.

    Really? Russia?

They went from Commie to being one of the biggest criminal organizations on the planet.

Also, the article is from April of 2009.

    Things have changed since then.
