Actually it's been 456 years since the lunar eclipse occurred on the Winter Solstice. Sadly, it's cloudy and rainy here. I would have loved to have seen it.

I very sad that we have the pineapple express and wont be able to see it!

I am Very Pleased.

We had enough clear patches between the clouds to see various phases of the lunar eclipse from the start to totality.

It was stunning.

This morning we had the eclipse and tonight is the longest night of the year or technically today is the shortest day of the year.

Of course if you are in Palin's land your night started on November 18th and won't end till Jauary 24th!!!
