Post Debate Sentiment--Obama Won

In the first big breath after every debate, a consensus comes in, and then there's the second breath when we pour over the details and pick the winner again.

In the moment, Obama lost on style points, which is ironic, since the GOP has always accused him of being all style and no substance. On debate night, Obama was all substance and boringly so.

"Romney Wins Debate" read all the headlines, but all the subheads read: "Romney Dances Away From Platform", "Romney Misrepresents Agenda", "Romney Lies".

I can't say that the President has been on the defensive other than the debate. He picked himself up, dusted himself off, and quickly bombarded swing states with ads featuring Mitt Romney lying bald-faced to the American public during the debate. Romney's camp has been on the defensive as people are trying to figure out if he has a tax cut for the rich policy or not and how he'll be able to afford it.

Romney depends on the stupidest among us in order to get elected. He needs the low information voters out there to think he cares about middle class people, and so now we get to see if they start flocking to him in the wake of the debate. He's seen a bump in the polls, but is it just a sugar high or the beginning of a trend? We won't really know until about Tuesday.

There is a lot of truth here. This is also what I talked about, Mitt might have "won" the debate but at a huge cost. The days and weeks after the debate you have to live with the feedback that comes with lying. Look at what happened to people like Cain and Newt during the primaries, they get standing ovations only to tank in the polls a week later because when going over what they said the nation rejects them. So yes, Mitt might have made you get that feeling of "FUCK YEAH, TAKE THAT OBAMA!!!" but over the week after the debate you're gonna get a feeling of "Holy fucking shit Mitt really is a progressive liberal that says anything to win." And that will leave a lot of people feeling even more disenfranchised in the Republican party.

Some of you people act as if liberals will suddenly vote for Mitt, they hate the guy, him lying makes them want to turn out and vote. The cost Mitt will pay in the long run is when his “base” that he doesn’t have but is trying to build realizes they truly hate Mitt and his policies and a momentary smack down on Obama is meaningless.

What makes me wonder, is why do conservatives accept Mitt Romney's lies so much. You guys have truths on your side... but you have to resort to lies.

If your children lied, you'd probably give them five across the eye, but if your politicians lie, you just smile and nod your head.

Good straw man. You lose.
Here.... Moving pictures. Might help. Not likely... But maybe.

That question might have a little more bite if those of you on the left had not blindly followed Obama without question like a love struck teenager for four year's.

How does it feel to be so willfully ignorant? Tons of liberals, myself included, have chided the presidency and spoken out on the things Obama has turned his back on that we were promised during the election campaign.

Obama really won you say.

Romney lied, your character died.

(Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama's campaign and its Democratic allies raised $181 million in September for his re-election effort, the largest total that either side has announced yet in the 2012 campaign.

The big September number and a good jobs report on Friday that showed unemployment dipping to 7.8 percent from 8.1 percent shifted some attention from Obama's lackluster debate performance on Wednesday against Republican Mitt Romney.

Helping buoy Obama's fundraising in September was his party's convention and a modest lead in the polls over Romney, whose campaign was plagued by his remark that the 47 percent of the population who receive government funds are "victims."

Obama's campaign said on Saturday that more than 1.8 million people donated to it last month. Of that, 567,000 were new donors. A vast majority of the donations - 98 percent - were $250 or less. The average contribution was $53.

Obama and Democrats raise record funds, poll holds steady | Reuters

Contributions always increase when a candidate is doing well, Chris.

Care to take a guess who's raking in the cash right now? LOL

Democrats say something, then they attribute that to Romney. When he proves he never said what was attributed to him, democrats say he lied.

Obama lied when the Ambassador died.

Now who do we think is worse? Someone the liberal left CLAIMS lies about policy or the POTUS who lies about what is clearly not the truth?????

The new liberal story line, Romney lies, keep repeating until believed.

Below is an email that I received from the MRC, where they are predicting what we will see from the next debate. I can totally see this scenario happening for the next debate.

Obama Lost So Badly Media Couldn't Spin It....But Guess What's Next As even former NBC anchor Tom Brokaw acknowledged today, liberal journalists were loaded and ready to pronounce this election over and Romney's campaign dead after the first debate: “If it had been Romney performing like the president last night, it would have been over.” But the beating Obama received last night was so complete that virtually no one (the New York Times excepted, as usual) denied it. But how did they report Obama lost? Therein lies the rub: they -- as well as Democratic operatives -- are pushing the spin that this was all about style and presentation. Obama was "flat," "lackluster," "not himself," and “not firing on all cylinders.” In other words, Obama wasn't Obama last night. Some are going further, pushing the narrative that Romney was somehow mean-spirited and even deceptive in his presentation This analysis denies reality. Obama lost on style, to be sure. More importantly, much more importantly, he lost on content. Romney crushed him. For the first time in his political career Obama a) had to defend his record and b) had no one running interference on his behalf. Romney as challenger had a seemingly endless list of particulars to choose from and did so in a devastating manner. That, that was the damage done to Obama. The media's refusal to focus on this all-important element is the ultimate spin control, perhaps a form of spin control heretofore unknown: spin by omission. Like so many news reports they've refused to run this year if they hurt the re-elect Obama narrative, now they're refusing to discuss the real takeaway from last night's debate because it is devastating to the incumbent. Instead it's all about style, and that "lackluster" performance. To what end? Obama will come out in the next debate and throw some roundhouses. It doesn't matter if they don't connect. It doesn't matter if they're below the belt. It doesn't matter if Romney counter-punches and connects. When it's all over the media spin will be immediate. "He's back!" "Obama regained his stride!" "Obama back in control!" "On top of his game!" That script is already written. Bank on it.

Really you have so how does it feel to be such a willful hypocrite? You and your tons of liberals blather on and on about the right supporting Romney and his lies but yet your perfectly willing to support Obama despite his lies to you. If you and the left want to rip Republicans for backing a liar stop backing one yourself all chiding someone means is you shown mild disapproval of them.

You obviously don't know much about the man you want to vote for. o.0

Obama is a shit president... It's true. But... You would pretty much have to be an idiot not to see Willard's flips and flops.

but your still sticking with him right?......so he will turn his back again and not worry about being re-elected this time.....so 3 years from now you will be bitching about the same shit.....if those "tons" of Liberals and "tons" of Conservatives who got fucked and lied too would ignore both of these 2 fucked up self serving entities and get a party going that actually gives a dam about this country.....we might actually get this Country rolling again.......
