Poroshenko: Ukraine will build long range missiles, as protection from Muscovite attacks

"Speaking in the Cherkassy region yesterday at a campaign function, incumbent President Petro Poroshenko stated that with the trampling of the Budapest Memorandum and Russia no longer abiding in the INF (DRSMD) Treaty, "Ukraine now intends to develop high-precision missile weapons. We are no longer bound by any restrictions on the range of the flight of our missiles, nor on their capacity - and we let the enemy know about it too. We need high-precision missile weapons and we will not repeat the mistakes of the Budapest memorandum." He noted the need of high-precision rocket-propelled missiles capable of striking targets far beyond the enemy's rear, which occupied the Ukrainian state. "This will make the aggressor more restrained, and our defense more reliable."

Five years of diplomatic talks have yielded no results at all. As I have stated on numerous occasions, the only dependable way to remove the "Russian" empire is via weapons parity.
