pornography should be banned, it has nothing to do with speech

pornography should be banned, it has nothing to do with speech

Its Flesh....and there is normally no talking, just moaning wants of flesh.

Do you even understand the difference?

Do you see a difference?

Free Speech is talking, "FUCKING" isn't talking. It's flesh vapor.

Fucking wasn't the intent of our Founders. Duty to a higher power than our bodies was the claim.

Fucking is the intent of our destroyers

Who do you think we face flesh?

Hey Robodunce, when you're done banning pornography, what's next? Perhaps there are some books you don't like. Yeah, you can ban those. No, better yet, you can burn them! Yeah! Then you can move on to radio, you can the personalities with whom you disagree, then maybe songs whose lyrics you personally find offensive! And television? Fertile ground for the easily offended. Start with news casters with whom you have a differing view then tackle the primetime programming.

Fuck, why stop there? Why, you could ban certain people from reproducing, certain races! There you go! Chinese, Black, Hispanic... NO BABIES FOR YOU! Oh! And you could ban women and minorities from voting!

Robodouche! FUCK YEAH!

To qoute my favorite movie:

"Can't you understand? That if you take a law like evolution and you make it a crime to teach it in the public schools, tomorrow you can make it a crime to teach it in the private schools? And tomorrow you may make it a crime to read about it. And soon you may ban books and newspapers. And then you may turn Catholic against Protestant, and Protestant against Protestant, and try to foist your own religion upon the mind of man. If you can do one, you can do the other. Because fanaticism and ignorance is forever busy, and needs feeding. And soon, your Honor, with banners flying and with drums beating we'll be marching backward, BACKWARD, through the glorious ages of that Sixteenth Century when bigots burned the man who dared bring enlightenment and intelligence to the human mind!"

Or perhaps a quote from a more recent film:

"America isn't easy. America is advanced citizenship. You gotta want it bad, 'cause it's gonna put up a fight. It's gonna say 'You want free speech?' Let's see you acknowledge a man whose words make your blood boil, who's standing center stage and advocating at the top of his lungs that which you would spend a lifetime opposing at the top of yours. You want to claim this land as the land of the free? Then the symbol of your country can't just be a flag; the symbol also has to be one of its citizens exercising his right to burn that flag in protest. Show me that, defend that, celebrate that in your classrooms. Then, you can stand up and sing about the "land of the free."

Tax it - And legalize, regulate, and tax prostitution in large cities.A red light district that gets the pimps, crime, and drugs out of it...

EXACTLY!!!!!!

Over the years that I spent in the Navy, I've been able to see how legalized prostitution REALLY works, as I've been in a brothel or two......

Catania Sicily is a really great town, lots of shopping, food, etc, but just off the center of the business district is a place of around 3 blocks, with little grubby buildings all over the place. Guess what? I didn't know what they were for until one day around 1700, I noticed a LOT of taxis coming and letting off really nice looking ladies who were dressed pretty normally. They'd get out, go up to a building, open the door, and around 1/2 hour later, they came out dressed in scanty underthings, sitting on a chair in front of their door.

If you stopped, they'd talk to you and then tell you what they were charging. Sometimes they'd even haggle a bit over the price. Once you'd both agreed, you went in with her, she showed you her CURRENT HEALTH CARD, and you were allowed to inspect it. If you didn't think her card was current, you could still walk out at that time and not pay a cent. If you were satsfied with her card (always check the issue date) then you both got naked, she scrubs you down with a washcloth, puts on a condom and you both get busy.

Afterwards, she washes you off, you put on your clothes and hit the street, which incidentally had a couple of bars on it as well as was patrolled SIGNIFICANTLY by the Italian Caribeneri (the military police).

Safest spot in Catania from 1700 until 0200.

Some thoughts on this discussion.

I really don't want the government trying to police what we watch and how we watch it, honestly.

I think that there is a need to closely regulate the adult film industry. The fact that Traci Lords, a minor, was able to make hundreds of pornographic films before outing herself shows an industry that just doesn't care. That hundreds of adult film actors get STD's every year?

Fact is, the prudes are already winning. Compare an R rated movie from the 1980's to an R rated movie today. Less nudity, less sex, and less bad words. Part of that was when film makers found they could use those previously forbidden crayons, they did a lot, but grew bored with them.

Part of it was commercial factors in the film industry made using them impractical.

And don't even get me started on the MPAA.

As we now know, regulate it and kill it.

Do you support the way Los Angeles killed off the porno industry? They decided to regulate it and require condoms. There's not a legal (might be none) porn film maker in the City.
