Excellent question. Maybe I don't know. I have my own perceptions of what I think a conservative is. I think he or she is someone who loves God first, followed by family and nation. He or she looks at traditional American values of decades past as a better time for families and for people in general. They, in general, accept and appreciate civil and equal rights, but feel that liberals have abused the Civil Rights movement in allowing abortion, pornography, adultry, gambling to flourish. They believe that liberals have taken parents' rights away (spanking, prayer in school, etc.) and more.

But let me ask all of you. What is a conservative?

And then, what is a liberal?


I think most of you are going to find you're a lot less of what you think you are if you just get honest and admit it.


I think there are parameters. Strictly? No, but I find it hard to believe that someone who lives with his girlfriend, watches porn, gets drunk, gambles, and shuns the Lord can look another person in they eye and say, "I'm a conservative."

What makes this one different from other porn movies?

Possibly the 3 most famous are Behind the Green Door, Deep Throat and Debbie Does Dallas.

I've only seen one of them (Debbie). Compared to the more recent ones (I don't mean to try and sound like an expert - I've only seen 3 or 4), the production values were worse, the sound was awful, the lighting was terrible, but they at least had a story and an element of humor.

Of the stars of the big 3, only 'Debbie" remains potentially alive. I say potentially because I saw a documentary about Bambi Woods (who played the title role) a few years ago and she apparently quit the industry in the mid seventies and completely disappeared. The other 2, (Chambers and Linda Lovelace) died relatively young. Woods may have as well, as there were rumors she OD'd in then 80's.

Bambi Woods was cute, Marilyn Chambers looked stunning, but Linda Lovelace? That promo picture sure doesn't do her any favors. Question to anyone who's seen Deep Throat. Did she really look like that?

Thanks to Nemesis I can say, principle of charity. I knew Mark S was a dentist and Eliot S was a governor who spent lots of money on prostitutes.
