Poor child above the clouds

Well who would put that in the middle of the lake?
ok, I'll explain.

see the broken bits on the left?

If the pic kept going that way, you'd see a shoreline, a shoreline that's higher then the water line.

How do I know it's higher? Look to the right. See those steps?

and seriously, global warming wasn't even close to being on topic

I know the topic was the picture and reflection, but the fact remains, the shore is no longer there connected to the pier. Why not. No one their right mind would build a pier in the middle of the lake with steps.
Stuck on stewpud this early.

drink more coffee, lots and lots more coffee

On my second cup, my mind is a sharp as a needle.
clearly not.

Well how would one get to the stairs, from a boat?

boat is in the water, steps lead to the water.

are you fucking with me or are you really unable to understand that there's land off camera?

You mean camera is on the shore. I am going with a flood as the reason the pier is in the middle of the lake.

You are imagining things that are not shown in the picture.

that's right, lakes are not surrounded by land, they are held in place by magic faeries and unicorns.

I already answered your question:
But, I'll try to explain:
- if a person is on a small boat, then there will be circles and waves
- if a person is standing on a big boat, there will be no waves, but this boat does not have the ability to swim in such a small depth where a wooden pier is built ... This is a small lake, but not an Ocean

Who told you that the pier is in the middle of the lake?

she assumed that and no amount of reality will convince her otherwise.

I can see its not an ocean but it must be fed to be so clear. I agree the pier is not in deep water. I also can see that there is water all around the pier. Pic in post #4.

also the child is not on the pier in picture #4.

Well will wonders never cease.

I don't like tea either.

That water is smooth enough to ski barefooted.
Thank you, Now I understand why the pier is broken ...
Simply, some guy was skiing "barefoot" and broke this pier with his stupid head (or feet?)
