Yes, up by a whopping 1.2 percent with a 3 percent margin of error. The bad news for Obama is only a Month ago that Composite had him up by 7%.

I don't deny that the race is tightening. I think the republican base is coming how to john mccain. No matter how much they hated him before, they're resigning themselves to voting for him. You can see it on this board.

I have a problem with pointing to one single poll.

I agree, I am not a big fan of McCain by any means, but the more I hear About Obama and his ideas, the more I realize I have little choice but to support McCain.

However I also think Obama is losing ground with his base, by making to many "revisions" to his pre Primaries positions.

Me too, I regularly use RCP as a source and think their Average is by far the best measure of the race.

More like Rabidly loyal Liberals getting mad at Obama, and Rabidly loyal Conservatives realizing the McCain despite his faults would still be better than Mr Liberal himself Obama.

I swear I have not supplied any criminals with guns. I have however, protected, my self with one. The USSC has repeated upheld the rights of gun owners for self protection, so at times I know the gun people can be a wee bit paranoid. but dont even think we are giving up our guns. now would you expect a 55 yr old woman to own 3 guns....my 78 yr old mom owns more but we put them up..her eyesight began to fail.

on and now to really freak you anti gunners out...i gave my son a rifle when he was twelve. he was mad , all his friends had guns for at least two years sooner.
