As usual Chris makes absurd comments for which there isn't a shred of evidence in support. The fact of the matter is that the tipping point in Pakistan had already been reached the Paki gov had an increasingly clear choice. They could either go to war with the Taliban or they could be killed by same they opted not to die without a fight..

The fact of the matter is that the Taliban had the support of 41% of the Pakistanis when Bush was in office.

Now that Obama is in office that support has fallen to 5%.
