An actual poll might be nice, but if you just read the postings here from the right side of posting spectrum, the enthusiasm level is never very high.

But that said, on the right side, it never is. As a general rule, we never make demigods of our candidates. You would never imagine a Republican Camelot, no Republican would ever get the level of idiotic adulation that Hillary got, or Obama got two years ago.

I think the highest level of enthusiasm any Republican ever got from his supporters was Nixon. And I think a large portion of that enthusiasm was more "Take that" to the left rather than any affection for the man or his policies.
