With the midterm elections less than a week away, a new CBS News/New York Times poll finds that Republicans continue to hold an advantage over Democrats in the generic House ballot. Forty-six percent of likely voters say they plan to vote Republican, while 40 percent say they will vote Democrat.

The advantage can be attributed in large part to independents, who are breaking hard for the GOP. Forty-seven percent of independent likely voters say they plan to vote Republican, while just 32 percent plan to vote Democrat. Seventeen percent haven't made up their minds.

Let's not dance on the five yard line people. It's first and goal. We have to get the ball into the end zone.

Show up and VOTE! And PLEASE CHECK THOSE BALLOTS before you confirm to vote. There are too many examples of voter fraud going on with those freaking machines. MAKE EVERY VOTE COUNT!

And then come election night let's party like it's 1994 baby!

It doesn't matter what happens in this election as far as total results. The anti-spendaholic government train is rolling, and it won't be stopped. Government already making arrangements for sincere cutbacks, except liberals haven't received the message yet for some reason.

They will support bloated, corrupt, and dysfunctional government at all costs.

They claim the the Tea Party folks are dumb for some reason, when in fact the liberals and Democrat supporters clearly have NO IDEA how dysfunctional their government is.

You could fire 75% of the civilian government work force, and still be OK. You are running a government with maybe 25% running the show anyways. The rest are hack relatives and buddies of the crooks.

That's not the attitude to have. It has to start somewhere and it starts with the Tea Party. ;)
