It's kinda funny...even a bit ironic. When the "young vote" helped put Obama into the White House, the right wingers scoffed at them and said they didn't know enough about politics to make the right choice and likened their mindset to "American Idol". NOW, the right wingers all of a sudden agree with them? Did the young people magically get smart in a year?

While the Republican Party picked up support from Millennials during 2009, this age group continues to favor the Democratic Party more than do other generations. And the underlying political values of this new generation continue to be significantly more liberal than those of other generations on many measures

What the normal matriculation is for most Americans is to start Democrat as a naive world saver, and grow up to face the realities of Democrat betrayal. Myself, I went from Democrat after seeing numerous betrayals against our people for the sake of the Democrat government machine, to being betrayed by Bush with his lack of reforms and government cutbacks, to independent. I see no personal support for strictly for either Party, but I do know the Democrats are far more deceitful, arrogant, and corrupt than Republicans.

Republicans the lesser of two evils in politics, and why I would prefer more independents, and women in the system to represent our people again. Scott Brown was a significant start.
