Poll: Americans downgrade Republicans

all the r's, d''s, and tb's, are so busy running for reelection in 2012 they seem to have forgotten that they are supposed to run the country the way the voters tell them too. We have elected a whole congress of self indulged rich people who don't give a damn about the rest of us until 8:00AM the morning of the election.

That is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help me God.

So true, it's like they're a bunch of parents who rely on their kids to tell them what they think they should do. No leadership whatsoever.

If a politician did what was right all the time, they'd never get re-elected. That's a sad statement about Americans, more than the politicians.

Yes I believe that the most of American people understand that the TP holdouts were responsible for the holdup in increasing the debt ceiling.

I am not certain that that will make a huge difference in the 2012 elections, though.

U syspect that the real determining factor in how Americans bote in 2012 will be the state of the economy in the final days leading up to the election.

If things are looking hopeful, (especially re the jobs and real inflation issues*) Obama will win.

If not, he will lose.

*Real inflation issue as opposed to the BS inflation numbers that our government posts. REAL people are already suffering from the increasing cost of food and energy. People's COLAs ought to increased last year and did not.

This is just the first of many polls that will, rightfully, lay the fault of our downgrade on the Tea Baggers. It's not being called the Tea Party Downgrade for nothing.

Looks like the Tea Party down grade turned out to be good for the market.

idiots believe everything they are told to beleive and the parrot it on the net.

You and ravi should get together and flock. :eusa_angel:

2 Republicans lost their seats. Cheer as you will, but them's the facts.

Coming in short of expectations with two fleebaggers still awaiting those votes.
It could end up exactly as it started.

BUT THEMS THE FACTS

Intelligent people are not calling it the "Tea Party Downgrade"...

Just sayin'....

The TP is ~ 19% of the population and have been around ~ 3 years.
Americas debt is over 200 years old.

yeeaaahhh, the intellegent people mock the people that put this on the T party.

The only polls that truly matter come in November of even years. Yesterday the R's mostly survived in Wisconsin, it will be interesting to see how the recall election is viewed by the operatives in both major parties and if anyone learned from this experience.

In normal times our nation seeks the security of the status quo, the devil we know so to speak; when those devils make large changes too quickly the voters rebel. Yet these are not normal times: Propaganda merchants vastly outnumber balanced reporting; opinion blogs outnumber serous essays on important issues; history is no longer a social science, it has become a commodity to package with partisan intent produced for profit and not perspective. And, of course, this forum and many like it are a source of misinformation as big lies are repeated by partisan parrots whose passions are fueled by emotion and not the hard work of critical analysis.
