Politifact Re-Confirms That Obamatax Is Not Largest Ever; Conservative fail.

Very little of the healthcare taxes will be accessed against the middle class. The benefits to that same middle class will far outweigh the expense.

For the vast majority of the middle class now insured absolutely nothing will happen........unless they want it to. Given the realities of our present insurance system they may well want it to.

Care to provide proof of that^(see red highlight above)? You got some magic crystal Ball, or are you just making shit up as you go along? I'm leaning toward the latter of the two.

Maybe he's using the same crystal ball that tells Conservatives ACA will be the biggest tax hike in history? Or that ACA will cost triple what they estimate it will?

Both sides like to play fast and loose with projections, but right now Conservatives have the motherfucking market cornered.

Projections? That was a statement by onecut I highlighted in red, he either backs it up with facts or admits he was lying... You don't need to intercede on his behalf. You can read can't you?

Largest tax increase?

Finally, the health care law is not the largest tax increase in history. We looked into this topic in detail when we fact-checked Rush Limbaugh’s statement that the health care law is "the largest tax increase in the history of the world."

That detailed analysis can be found here, but the bottom line is this:

Depending on your rounding, tax increases resulting from the health care law are about the size of tax increases proposed and passed in 1980 by President Jimmy Carter, in 1990 by President George H.W. Bush and in 1993 by President Bill Clinton.

The health care law’s tax increases are smaller than tax increases signed into law by President Ronald Reagan in 1982 and a temporary tax signed into law in 1968 by President Lyndon B. Johnson. And they are significantly smaller than two tax increases passed during World War II and a tax increase passed in 1961.

It’s true that the tax increases in the health care legislation do reverse a trend of federal tax cuts and represent the first significant tax increases since 1993.

But they are not the largest in the history of the United States.

Conservatives really should stop listening to Rush Limbaugh. It's bad for them.
But the Liar in Chief said it's not a tax.

Funny how Obama's robots always seem to forget that little detail. At least his minions are now even calling it what it IS... A TAX.

Yeah, Victory for Obama because the Tax isn't (claimed) the largest in history!:clap2: Do you Libtards really think this is a victory for Obama? I think General McAuliffe summed it up perfectly at Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge... NUTS.

Yeah, he left out a material fact when selling this Obomination of a law.

But, he is inherently dishonest.

The facts and Conservatives, not a good mix.
Let's talk about that.

Obama said it was not a tax. That was one of the selling points he had for that program. But, the SCOTUS said it IS a tax.

And, let's look into this even more. The SCOTUS said the mandate is unconstitutional. But, Obama pushed for the mandate. And, Obama claims he is a "constitutional scholar".

My ass he is. I don't even think he went to law school. I have no reason to belive he did.

You're calling it Obamatax... That's so hilarious. I'm totally serious. You've already conceded the argument that it's a tax increase. And one of the largest in history.

And you think that somehow this is a victory because it's not the largest. Fine. You can have it. Obama has provided one of the largest tax increases in American history and you cant deny it.

This truly is a beautiful day.

Your sense of irony is broken.

Irony has nothing to do with what i said. Amusement is.

You're right... When you mix facts with Conservatives your entire Liberal ideology gets blown right out of the water. Nope... Not a good mix when you are trying to brainwash a Nation with Leftist LIES.

When you say "it IS a tax" what exactly do you mean by "It"? The individual mandate's penalty-like function? It's my understanding that if the GOP hadn't pushed this issue all the way to the Supreme Court, then it would have just been a fee affecting about 1% of the US population. Now of course, not that this is the fault of the GOP, the Individual Mandate can no longer function under the commerce clause due to the S.C. ruling, therefore the 'penalty-like function' had to be altered to fall under congress's taxing power.

The individual mandate is set to only affect people who have the ability to buy health insurance, but choose not to. Again, this is expected to be around 1% of the population.

The SCOTUS said the mandate is unconstitutional

Good for SCOTUS, the Supreme Court said it was constitutional after some alterations.

"It" is the mandate. The mandate that wasn't a tax, per Obama, the 'constitutional scholar'. But IS a tax, according to the SCOTUS because a mandate is UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

:lmao:

Yeah. Right. "Constitutional scholar".
