Politifact Says Trump Is Right, But Rates His Remark ‘Mostly False’

Politifact decided to fact-check one of President Donald Trump’s tweets Sunday and found that “the numbers check out.” The fact-checking site then rated the tweet “mostly false.”

:wtf:

How can Trump's statement / numbers be correct ('check out') but the decision be that his statement is 'mostly false'?

"Politifact wrote: “The numbers check out. And in fact, the total public debt has dropped another $22 billion since the Gateway Pundit article published, according to data from the U.S. Department of Treasury.”

Despite this, Politifact still gave Trump a rating of “mostly false” and titled its article, “Why Donald Trump’s tweet about national debt decrease in his first month is highly misleading.”

Ah, Trump's numbers are CORRECT, but his citing CORRECT numbers is 'misleading'.

:wtf:

How can NUMBERS - correct ones at that - be 'misleading'?

BECAUSE POLITIFACT APPLIED THEIR OWN GIFT OF PROGNOSTICATION TO TRUMP'S STATEMENT:

"Politifact writer Aaron Sharockman quoted various experts who said that Trump’s administration is unlikely to be the reason for the decrease in debt and that Trump is focusing on the wrong set of numbers. “Trump would be wise to not read too much into this figure, which sounds more noteworthy than it actually is. The national debt fluctuates up and down depending on the day. “While the debt is ‘down’ after one month, experts say that trend will reverse and the debt will continue to rise.””

CAN YOU SAY 'SORE LOSER, SOUR GRAPES, BUTT HURT SNOWFLAKES'?

If you ARE a sore loser, sour grapes, butt-hurt snowflake the answer is 'No'. The fact remains, however, that Trump was 100% accurate - the debt IS down after 1 month.

The fact that Politifact, who was busted lying in one of their 'findings' in order to protect Obama, and other snowflakes don't want to credit Trump with anything positive is not enough reason to claim his statement is 'mostly false'/ The fact that the debt may rise in the extremely near future does not, ALSO, make the fact that the debt is down NOW after 1 month - which is what Trump said in anyway 'mostly false'.

Trump's statement is TRUE, and Polit-Fake News just got busted 'doctoring' their findings with their own OPINION to give Trump an UN-deserved 'Mostly False'!

Politifact, as a result, has been declared / found to be 'FAKE NEWS'!
