I apologize if this has been done before, but I wanted to start a thread had a bit more of a mellow vibe to it. Does your family share your political views? Spouse? Parents? Kids? How have the views of your family changed over the years? Has interacting with various relatives changed your views?

my wife is much more liberal than i am, as is her dad. my kids are pretty liberal, as one would expect people of their age (18, 24) to be.

My extended family are almost all religious whackjobs, I do not discuss anything serious or political with them. Somehow we still love each other and get along good.
