Every normal process has variation. It goes up, it goes down. Things change back and forth over time. If it goes up or down too many points in a a row, the process has changed. It is no longer normal.

For the last seven years the process has been going right for too many points. Whether you are right or left, anytime one side dominates for too long, you will get a broken government.

Bush has broken our political system. We need to get a Democratic president and a real Democratic majority in the House and Senate. This will start the political process moving back toward the center. Don't worry righties, it will come back to the right again at some time.

If we ever go totally right or left, we will no longer be the United States of America. We will be a dictatorship that will only allow like thinking to exist. You see some of this already from the far Right who is in power. If it was the far left they would be just as much a bunch of petty tyrants.

What is so fukked up is that the majority of US are neither right or left extremists but moderates of both sides of the political spectrum.

It is still the screaming wheel with the money who gets the attention.

Middle America needs to rise up and tell both extremes to go to hell in a handbasket.

I bet you were not complaining when the Democrats controlled both houses of Congress except for a couple 2 year blips in the Senate from 1952 to 1994.

But using your claim that 7 years of republican rule has destroyed us, I would suggest that the previous 42 had done a LOT worse. You made the claim I am just pointing your idea out.
