This election will see a winding down of the Republican Party.

    The party is not growing.

    The Republicans have alienated the:

    Blacks

    Hispanics

    Gays

    Feminists

    Atheists

Except for Bible Studies, those with 4 year degrees vote overwhelmingly for Democrats. The higher the degree, the less likely to vote Republican.

The base of the Republican Party is made up of older whites who are obviously NOT reproducing. The Republicans will lose many of these people once they understand that their Republican leadership wants to end Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid as we know it. People like Joe Miller, Sarah Palin, Sharon Angle, Michele Bachman and others.

Right now, they are concentrating on the “black, Muslim, terrorist, Fascist/Socialist/Communist/Marxist, man child, Kenyan illegal alien” who sits in the “WHITE” House.

Every time they smear the president with a racist or untrue tag, or attack another minority, they lose another chance at growing their party.

This is truly the Republican Party's "Last Best Hope".

Ya know when you GOT NOTHING ELSE. always pull out the RACE CARD.

you have to wonder how people who belong to the Democrat party like being INDENTIFIED as a group, race or color instead of a INDIVIDUAL-Person..

Why can't Republicans be more like Democrats and conduct syphilis experiments on blacks and Guatemalans and call their own SCOTUS pick a ******?

Interesting how the OP states that the GOP is not growing, yet completely ignores that the Dems ain't growing either. The only label that is growing is 'Independent'.

Historically, the party in power, if you could call it in power, does better during the mid terms.

The current approval rating for the Republican Party is 25%.

The public is angry at the Democrats for not cleaning up Republicans mess fast enough. But what can you do. Republican policies helped companies move to China at the rate of 2.4 MILLION from 2001 to 2008. The two mismanaged wars. The ruined economy. Wall Street deregulation.
Add those problems to the FACT the GOP is 90% white.
Then there are all the older people who live by Fox and don't even know that Republicans want to cut their Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Republicans have done of fantastic job of keeping their base ignorant. It's just that won't last.
