Political implications of bad employment report

the stimulus was decreased at the insistance of the right.

its their fault the stimulus' effect is wearing off.

Stimulus was a massive failure of epic proportions. O promised 5.6 ue by now but we're stuck at 8.2. This is what you hitched your wagon to.

See, this is why you guys are fucking ignorant. He never PROMISED unemployment would be at 5.6%, you idiot. He told us, based on the economic projections of his team, that we'd be around 5.6%. But they probably weren't counting on the GOP standing in the way of literally EVERY SINGLE BILL that they wanted to introduce. They were probably not counting on the 2010 rise of the Mouth-Breather Party. They probably, like the rest of us, didn't realize just how fucked up a state the country's economy really was.

The fact is that Obama is a WINNER on the economy if you turn off Fox News and just look at the numbers. But you won't do that. You'll refuse to, and even claim that either the Left is lying about the numbers, or that the numbers are fudged somehow. You'd rather believe in a fucking conspiracy theory about numbers than just admit that Obama has righted the ship. We can argue about how much he's righted the ship, but all the indicators are heading in the right direction.

It's just very evident that it doesn't matter how good Obama's record is on anything, it's all about getting him out at all costs. How come the Right isn't praising Obama for telling oil speculators to knock that shit off, resulting in a massive drop in gas prices the last month or so? Oh that's right, because he's a Democrat.

The only reason why the jobs report is as good as it is, is because the government has been successful in shifting the unemployed into other forms of dependency like disability and welfare.

He never promised 5.6%. Stop lying.

Yes, he did.

"This continues to be the longest streak — 41 months — of unemployment of 8% or higher since the Great Depression. And recall that back in 2009, Team Obama predicted that if Congress passed its $800 billion stimulus plan, the unemployment rate would be around 5.6% today."

Jobs created during U.S. presidential terms - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Historically the Democrats have been better at job creation, with Carter beating Reagan and both Bushes.

USELESS AS THE NUMBERS HAVE BEEN FUDGED FOR DECADES

The government to afraid to report the volatility just like with inflation.

It also doesnt take into account the congressional influence over events.

If you want to suck up to big government.

PUCKER UP BITCH.............

If you think the numbers have been fudged for decades, like you claim, then how do you know the GOP is better than the Dems at job creation?

STUPID and that is being kind. How many times have the accounting been adjusted since the 80s.

I bet you dont even know do you clown?

Yes, he did. By extenstion that was what he was saying. Unfortunately, he was wrong.

I didn't make those promises. That was the O admin. Perhaps, you should tell them to stop lying.

Moonglow you are such a hack. You work in the construction industry and you live in an area that was leveled by tornados. Then you run around posting about how good work is. As if everyone is too stupid to understand cause and effect. Instead of thanking Obama for your steady work you should be thanking mother nature. Of course you have lots of competition. SW Missouri was flooded with outside contractors because of all the buildings destroyed.

You're either a disingenuous hack or a really stupid idiot who believes his little bubble is what everyone else is experiencing.

Let's not be stupid now. That was the O admin, once again, lying.

No, but you see, Dorothy The WonderFuck, you are wrong. A projection is not a promise. I know maybe to your simple mind it may feel like one in the same, but they're not. But I can think of a recent Presidential LIE.

Remember all those WMDs that we were promised were in Iraq? Where are they, again?

We're talking about the horrid ue here. Let's not deflect away from the subject. And yes, these were projections that the O admin promised. You're wrong again but that was to be expected.
