Political cliches I'd like to see go away

I can't wait for the silly season to be over, and here's a start on some cliches from both parties I'd like to see fried in pig fat and summarily tossed into the fires of hell:

"Failed policies"

"Dog whistle"

"Take our country back"

"The most important election of our lifetime"

"Don't redefine marriage", which is actually a new way of saying "We have always discriminated, why change now?"

"Culture war".

And those white boards and chalk boards and electronic versions of them newsies are using these days, a la Glenn Beck. I was sick of those from the moment I first saw one. I was hoping Romney's jumping the shark with one would finally put the end to them. But nooooooo...
