Hitler was a socialist who believed in state intervention in private businesses. Obama is a socialist who believes the same.
So tell me what is false about the billboard again?

News like this is great for the Democrats. It illustrates just how hate filled and crazy the tea party movement really is.

Well, let me sum this whole thread up with a couple points.

Adolf Hitler made, as part of his initial rise to power and influence, two issues part of his main agenda:

- Stronger, total national healthcare for government control over all humans under German rule.
- Environmental "green movement" (initiated through the brown shirts and hitler youth) to begin phasing in the ideals of environmental purity, which leads to human purity, racial purity, and so on- but the green environmental purity had to be sold first.

Is Obama comparable to Hitler? No. Thats not a fair comparison. No US president has been like Hitler. Are Obama's initial policies similar to those of the National Socialist Party of Germany (NAZI) in the mid-late 1930's???? Well, yes, they are. As have been the initial parties of many left leaning, socialist type governments, some of whom progressed to horrible evils, and some who just turned into Sweden, Norway, Greece, etc. Which way will ours go? Who knows.

The billboard features phrases like “Live Free or Die” and “Radical leaders prey on the fearful and naive.”
It’s the same spot where a billboard last fall featured the phrase “Obama-Nation, Live Free or Die” with the Communist symbol of a hammer and sickle. The billboards were paid for by the North Iowa Tea Party.
John White, state coordinator of the Iowa Tea Party movement, says the new billboard crosses a dangerous line. He says it’s going somewhere the Tea Party doesn’t need to go.
White says this type of mudslinging is something they’d like to see stopped in their policies and campaign process. The sign features the words “Democratic Socialism” over Obama’s picture, over Hitler’s photo is “National Socialism” and over Lenin’s head is “Marxist Socialism.” The words “Change” are also included on each photo. White says hand-held signs like the billboard have been discouraged from Tea Party functions.

No, I think the analogy between Bush and Hitler damaged the Anti-Bush movement.

My, how things have changed. I recently watch a piece on FDR. The press was asked not to photograph the president on crutches because it would cast the president as being crippled and weak. Today you will find very few pictures of FDR on crutches.

I find it amazing that people can claim to be patriotic yet harbor such hate for their government and their leaders. I think we forget sometimes that our president, Obama, Bush, Clinton, or whoever represents our country to the world. We can't throw shit at our president and our government without some of it rubbing off on us.

The lefties are just ignorant of history. They were told what to think by professors and by MSNBC. Then, they bow down to Obama like good servants and call us racist.

They don't realize what the initial beginnings of past tyrannical governments looked like. Tyrants don't just rise to power overnight usually. Military coups happen, yes. But most of the time, dictators and tyrants slowly and gradually come to power through slick and sneaky laws that the people don't see coming, or don't grasp the consequences of.

But, lefties will always line up to sign up for the government handouts because it's "fair" and "equal", and you can't have fair and equal without government intervention. So, first, you must make the folks feel like victims (German anger at WW1 treaty and sanctions). Then, you offer them intoxicating rhetoric (speeches where people pass out from excitement). Then, show them the "Hope" that something can be "changed" if only they will stand by their leader and support his policies and ideals.

Funny, seems like we've heard that sequence time and time again in history. I'm sure it will never turn to evil results again.
