Comparatively I have very few complaints with law enforcement, from what I see swat is used in no knock allot more than necessarry. You can secure a location and enter normally without putting the officers and occupants in danger. Anyone kicks my door and someone is likely to die and many others are the same way. I keep weapons for self protection and I won't wait for an announcment to shoot and because so many bad guys have body armor I don't train to shoot center of mass, I'll go for the head, that 12ga is not forgiving.
My only other real complaint is many department have shed the traditional uniforms for paramilitary type uniforms, being retired military I understand comfort and utility but that type of uniform is uncalled for in average patrol work. But that's just me.
