Why do I feel like Charlie Brown at Halloween - "All I got was a rock".

As far as I know, I get to rep 12 times. Or maybe 12 is the cycle before I can rep someone again. Sometimes I rep wildly just to be able to rep someone who I want to rep again, like a gun on repid fire.

But since I have so few rep points to give, it's about as good as blowing a kiss anyway.

I am still too new to have set myself a policy for repping. Not that I would follow my own policy anyway.

You get 20 reps like everyone else. You just can't rep the same person again until you rep 11 other people.

I think 20 reps is plenty....otherwise the rep hogs would go wild.

Certain crews deserve negatives. Now that would work for me. Not a zero. But negatives.

Do you have EXACT stats to back that statement up, like, names and screenshots, or are you just shooting from the hip because it "feels" that way to you?

I mean, imo it's totally ok to be shooting from the hip, it's a free country and a very open forum, but then if that is the case, you should be honest enough to admit it.

It is the rightwing rep circle jerk that has been repping itself to death while they gang neg new liberal posters. It was this wolf pack that caused the neg rep rules to be changed. I've not been here long enough to be able to confirm that, but in spite of a couple of nasty attacks from a couple of nerds in USMB, I have also encountered some Conservatives who are a.) respectful, b.) willling to listen, c.) possess a nice sense of humour and d.) are willing to agree to disagree. They seem to be good people to me, every bit as good as some of the Lefties I have met here.

So, for me, this is not necessarily a RIGHT-LEFT thing.

And I am going to wait for koshergrl to tell me herself what she thinks and feels about this.

I have already made the decision to not give out any more neg reps than absolutely necessary and I will never initiate one, unless the poster is so vilely racist or bigoted about it that I just cannot help myself.

It's like I've told my kids many times, there's good and bad in everything and everyone and in every corner of this planet. The side that is seen depends upon the eyes that are looking at that moment and also in which frame of mind that person is in at the time. We can't control others, but we can control ourselves.
