Plaxico should spend the a significant amount of time in prison for this offense.

This is where the gun control freaks should be focusing their efforts...enforcing gun laws already on the books.

New York's gun laws may be draconian, but they are the law, and when one breaks the law, one must be prepared to face the consequences.

The problem is, they indited him on laws he didn't break.

Buress will walk, this has been a witchunt from the Manhatten DA & Blomberg all along, to 'prove' their gun laws work.

They will NEVER get a conviction in this case, he bought the gun legally in Florida and it was registered there, the law they charged him with says unregistered & illegally obtained firearms.

The DA refuses to plea bargin without jailtime, proof that justice is not the issue here.

Bull-dinky! The supreme law of the land is the Constitution of the United States. He has a "right" to carry a gun any where he/we want! Period. The supreme "law" of the land overrides any witch-hunt that those no good rotten skunks and their statutory laws, decide to impose. This heinous attack on our constitution, all in order to showboat/boost their megalomaniacle careers. The mayor and his cronies don't know jack-crap about the law of this land.

Couldn't post the link - 1st time poster but, School yourself on the Juror's rights! I hope every selected juror understands their "supreme" power over this case. (Something 'they' don't want you to know).

As a Juror, you are the Judge! You interpret the law! If you feel the law is inadequate, at that point in time, you change it! The judge has no power over the juror - NONE! Take back America and dump these poor excuses for politicians and their corrupt emissaries in the trash where they belong.

Understand what happened in the Bernard Goetz case - Jury NULLIFICATION! Let Freedom Ring!

    Little excerpt

"A Jury's Rights, Powers, and Duties:

But does the jury's power to veto bad laws exist under our Constitution?

It certainly does! At the time the Constitution was written, the definition of the term "jury" referred to a group of citizens empowered to judge both the law and the evidence in the case before it. Then, in the February term of 1794, the Supreme Court conducted a jury trial in the case of the State of Georgia vs. Brailsford (3 Dall 1). The instructions to the jury in the first jury trial before the Supreme Court of the United States illustrate the true power of the jury. Chief Justice John Jay said: "It is presumed, that juries are the best judges of facts; it is, on the other hand, presumed that courts are the best judges of law. But still both objects are within your power of decision." (emphasis added) "...you have a right to take it upon yourselves to judge of both, and to determine the law as well as the fact in controversy".

    Case closed!
