It hasn't been that long since Piers Morgan represented the extreme fringes of insane left wrong-wing whackoism. In not very many years, our mainstream left wrong wing has continued to move in that direction, past Mr. Morgan, to the point that compared to them, he actually seems relatively sane, now.
