Kurdish security forces are at stand off near Daquq district in south of Kirkuk province, after the Dijla command held and arrested two security vehicles which were heading for Salahadin, then the Dijla tried to enter Kirkuk at Daquq south of the province but they were intercepted by the Kurdish security forces and they are now at stand off since yesterday.

Kirkuk is a disputed town between the iraqi government and the Kurdistan government, in 1957 census kurds were 52% of the province and came as a majority in the province after turkmen and arabs respectively.
