When I first started looking at Perry, I though he was a shoo-in for the nomination if not the General Election win. The more I learn, the more I think he may have a fight on his hands to get the nom.

I'm not a Perry fan by any stretch of the imagination but I can show you just how shortsighted/perverted the media is.

The article about yachts... it made perfect sense to give the tax break. Florida gives the same tax break and was stealing business from Texas. It makes a lot more sense to give the tax break on the yacht and have it built there with all of the businesses that the yacht brings/keeps in the state. Its not just the Yachts, its all of the other things in the industry. You have to house the boat, clean the boat, service the boat not to mention a lot of people eat out a lot (my dad owns a large boat, don't know if its a yacht or not) and spend a ton of money on the local economy because you just can't do all on a yacht that you would do as a land dweller. I don't like perry and won't vote for him but that, at least, made sense.
