That is why Trump can talk to Nato countries like he does, because we have the power. Why does he want to break the EU and Nafta up, its easier to walk over small less populated countries than large ones that act as one corp , and we have the military to back us up , everywhere.

The last time the U.S. participated in actual combat on NATO territory was when Bill Clinton decided to bomb Europe when he was caught with his pants down. Since the U.S. doesn't really border the North Atlantic it seems that NATO is set up to protect the countries that seem to disagree with the U.S. on a lot of issues lately. We need to stop being the patsy of the world and force Europe to contribute fairly to their own freaking defense. If the shit hits the fan you know the U.S. will be the first to fight anyway.
