We have 11000 or more of troops there and we spend multi millions every year on its upkeep. Free defense,
and its cost of money.

Lets admit this fact, we would have all the bases all over and in Germany even if they paid us nothing. We protect our interests and forget that we are doing anyone a favor like Trump says.

We need to bring all our military home and close all these 1000 bases we have around the world. If a country wants our base there, then they can pay for 100% of the operating costs. We'll leave the base open and send them a bill.
