I know a few people who were waivering in 2008. And do you know what they told me were the two determining factors for them to vote against McCain.

First, he picked Palin, who clearly wasn't up to the job, didn't know what it required and seemed kind of dopey. And the thought of putting this ignoramous next to a 72 year old man with a history of cancer seemed like a really bad idea.

The second was that when the economic crisis hit, McCain wanted to cancel the debate and the campaign and go back to Washington to deal with the crisis. He was trying to looks "Statesmanlike", but he ended up looking like an old guy who couldn't multi-task.

But McCain was pretty awesome compared to Romney, who is just kind of a scumbag.

The last election, we had some voting on color, some voting because they thought Obama would give them things and others were trying to prove they weren't racist. Should be about issues and solutions, but we all know better.

We already know all we need to reject Mitt Romney. He is a thug and a sociopath. That is the essence of his character. It developed early and continued to develop throughout his life. From the moment he picked-up a deadly weapon to assault a classmate, through his life in the business world slashing jobs and impoverishing workers, to the public policy proposals which will starve babies and leave seniors to die on the street, Mitt Romney has preyed on others. Their suffering at his hands has never given him a moment's pause. He has ignored it and continued to stuff his pockets with whatever their suffering has gained him.
