I was surprised that someone got it. The new face indexing is used to keep marked people out of the Casinos in Vegas and is just as good as a finger print to ID you. The are grouped into data bases for any use that you want from street cams to store cams. It can ID your address phone number, who you voted for any criminal activity you are doing, the type of car you drive and it's tag number, Doctors offices you visit, the bars you go into, what you buy in a store, the location of your house and what it looks like. What routes you drive, who your kids are, who you are married to or live with, if you travel across the border, toll roads you use, and so much more then you can think about. So use FB I don't think anyone with a IQ over 55 can not understand just how invasive this request is, or how stupid they are. If you use face book now it's to late to back track. You are branded and in the herd.

even if it has dropped somewhat, it's STILL a huge number.

You are not understanding how to read the data. It is the most used among 4 out of 10 teens.

As for the nude photo bit, you got that completely wrong, as usual.

You may have misinterpreted what I posted. It appears in your haste to pass personal judgement, your comprehension of the context failed. If you go back, take a deep breath and read the OP again, the Nude part was in a different context and as I said, they are "ASKING" for the nude photos and was separately noted from the first part about demanding a facial photo. Still, I maintain you would have to be nuts to send them your nude photos IMO.

Secondly, you are looking at an old article.
Millions of people HAVE been REQUIRED to upload a photo to Facebook to regain or continue access to their accounts.
This is a fact and not debatable.

If you would kindly Google "Facebook requires photo" you will find for yourself that I am correct.

As for the nude photos, I didn't say Facebook was "Requiring" nude photos (you interpreted it that way), simply that for their purposes, they ask for nude photos.
Given the continuous failures at FB to secure data, this seem very risky indeed.

I was cleaning out my old on Duty Trunk, and found some papers. You stated or inferred in your post that a little data goes a long way. You are right, I found where all I had was a credit card number from a suspect. From just that number I was able to find his current address his wife name, where he works, his date of birth, a pix of him and two warrants for his arrest. This was back in 1981 before Facebook, kind of makes you paranoid.

I have to make an exception to my OP.....

I was only referring to those who place tons of personal information on FB and freely submit to all of FB's demands for their photos etc.

It cannot be denied that FB is a massive powerhouse in terms of advertising opportunity for business.
BUSINESSES that use FB for advertising .....it's a shame they have to support FB but I can understand their use to promote their business.

I only use Facebook to communicate with my parents, siblings, friends, and acquaintances. Facebook can get a bit too much. People overshare their lives too much. I only log on twice a week if possible.
