"The is the party of and for the U.S. working class, a class which is multiracial, multinational, and unites men and women, young and old, employed and unemployed, organized and unorganized, gay and straight, native-born and immigrant, urban and rural, and composed of workers who perform a large range of physical and mental labor—the vast majority of our society. We are the party of the African American, Mexican American, Puerto Rican, all other Latino American, Native American, Asian American, and all racially and nationally oppressed peoples, as well as women, youth, and all other working people.

The living standards of workers and the natural environment on which life depends are under constant attack due to the drive for maximum profits inherent in capitalism. Our party fights for jobs and economic security, a decent and rising standard of living, peace, justice, equality, a sustainable environment, gay rights, health care, education, affordable housing, the needs of seniors, democracy, and a fulfilling life for everyone, with socialism as our goal. Only through the abolition of the capitalist system and the socialist reorganization of society can exploitation of human beings by others, and the evils of oppression, war, racism, environmental degradation, and poverty be ended. We seek to build a socialist society which puts people and nature before profits.........."

Gee, that communist credo sounds an awful lot like your average , run of the mill, govt dependent, progressive, liberal, ummmmmmmm "working" man.................

Just dont compare him to a communist because, well.............you can clearly see the differences....lol

And you still did not address my question. Does it mean if you are not to be labeled a Communist, you must value profits over people? Randian philosophies, anyone?

Only govt deficits and bankrupt corporations can really take care of the people.....

You just need to borrow, print and spend to really "care"

Kill all the people and allow the profits to live in peace.

what a great Id you have there OP

Fuck off.

In a 1915 speech to the Catholic group the Knights of Columbus. Roosevelt said:
There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism... a hyphenated American is not an American at all. This is just as true of the man who puts "native" before the hyphen as of the man who puts German or Irish or English or French before the hyphen. Americanism is a matter of the spirit and of the soul. Our allegiance must be purely to the United States. We must unsparingly condemn any man who holds any other allegiance. But if he is heartily and singly loyal to this Republic, then no matter where he was born, he is just as good an American as any one else.
The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic. The men who do not become Americans and nothing else are hyphenated Americans; and there ought to be no room for them in this country. The man who calls himself an American citizen and who yet shows by his actions that he is primarily the citizen of a foreign land, plays a thoroughly mischievous part in the life of our body politic. He has no place here; and the sooner he returns to the land to which he feels his real heart-allegiance, the better it will be for every good American. There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.
For an American citizen to vote as a German-American, an Irish-American, or an English-American, is to be a traitor to American institutions; and those hyphenated Americans who terrorize American politicians by threats of the foreign vote are engaged in treason to the American Republic.[1]

Except for them damn Japs

and if they mess up they can just "go die"

I can hear the republicans applauding

Profits hold a very special place in the hearts of cons.

They in fact out weight the place in the heart were compassion once resided

So, if you are not a Communist you must put profits before people, right?

That certainly fills the Democratic logic. If you disagree with the Democratic Party or the President, you are against women's right, green energy, against the poor, you are for dirty water, dirty air, you are a racist, you are against gays, you are a bigot and so on and so forth. Against the auto bailout? You hate the working class, you are against unions. Wisconsin ring a bell, there if you are not for the Democrat that is running against Walker, you hate teachers, police officers, firefighters, hate unions, hate workers, for the rich, you love the Koch brothers.

Sounds like you hate it when the tables are turned, by the way, I don't think the Democrat party is for the poor, the minorities, green energy or any of it, they are for getting as many people they can to rely on government so as to buy votes. Why? Power. Simple, divide and conquer. Sounds like the Communist Party tactic, doesn't it?
