In a stipulation agreement signed earlier this month, state officials conceded that they had no evidence of prior in-person voter fraud, or even any reason to believe that such crimes would occur with more frequency if a voter ID law wasn't in effect.

"There have been no investigations or prosecutions of in-person voter fraud in Pennsylvania; and the parties do not have direct personal knowledge of any such investigations or prosecutions in other states,” the statement reads.

So what is the problem you are having with voter fraud prevention techniques?

There is no evidence of voter fraud to enact voter fraud legislation. So in reality the only thing this does is make it harder for some to vote based on no reason.

Imagine Mini car roll over legislation that required all cars to be equipped with roll over cages. Without evidence that Mini Cars roll over at all. It would place an undue burden on the Mini Car owners. The owners of other cars will say "Who cares?" of course but its still a burden whether you think it's easy to do or not

I can conclusively prove Democrat voter fraud with only two words: Senator Franken

We all know what this is really about, and voter fraud has nothing to do with it. At least this gop congressman was honest about it.

Now provide us the US Federal justification for preventing a State from passing laws for the benefit of their State. Provide the Justification for the Federal Government demanding to know why a law was passed by a State.

Further explain why the very Government ( Federal) requires positive identification of voters and periodic cleansing of rolls for identification purposes.

What is "In Person" voter fraud and how is it different than any other kind?

This thread is irrelevant. A State does not have to justify why it passed a law except to its own State citizens. There is no legal requirement for the State to prove any voter fraud occurred as for why they now require Identification.

What I find hilarious is the Federal Government has failed to provide any real evidence that identification required to vote disenfranchises anyone. They had their asses handed to them on that issue once already.

Yeah that concept is how liberals operate on "science"

Experts from the World Health Organisation (WHO) are also urging the public to minimise their risk by cutting down on processed foods, but they say that at the moment there is not enough evidence to justify advising the public to avoid certain foods.

This simply proves that Republicans are dangerous to democracy. They are trying to undermine the foundation of the country. The most anti constitution group of people in generations. We have to fight back.

Imagine if hundreds of thousands or even millions of people turned up to vote and were turned away. You would have riots in the street. What Republicans are doing is a disgrace.

There is nothing about a photo ID in the constitution. You need to pay up to $50 to get the papers needed to get that "free" ID. Most of those people live farther away than 10 miles to a place where you can even get the ID. If you are old or black, you may not even have a car.

$50 bucks to someone poor are groceries for a week.

These right wingers are heartless and dangerous to this country. Do they work for al Qaeda? One wonders. They DID let Bin Laden go.

I live in the United States of America. You live in the "Land of Milk and Cookies". Where I live is "real".

Another wingnut cure in search of a problem.

Oh, they identified a real problem alright. It was the demographic turnout of voters in 2008. It was comprised of large numbers of people from groups who previously didn't vote in such large numbers. And they didn't vote Republican, either.

And end the thread because this says it all.
