Penises on Prime Time Programming TruTV

It was already shown to you in this thread. It had a warning of explicit material, did it not?

The fault is yours, not anyone else's.

Correct. It did NOT have a warning for explicit material. It was rated TV 14 which doesn’t allow erect penises to be viewed. Worse,, it was interwoven with much tamer kid-lure type shows & aired at 4pm on a school day. They’re not getting off the hook on this one.

Glad to see you’re conceding that the FCC does have authority on cable TV. The spin that they don’t has finally died.

When will you admit that you did not do your due diligence in monitoring their access to such shows?

I have a 10 year-old and 12 year-old grandson in my house. All of their TV and Internet use is restricted. Why isn't yours?

As far as the FCC goals, what law gives them that authority to fine cable channels? You still haven't come up with an answer.

See the previous page. TV 14 does NOT allow for EXPLICIT sexual content. Showing erect penises (engorged, ready for sex) is explicit material. TruTV fucked up. They showed this content illegally at 4pm in the afternoon on a school day no less, intermixed with other children-curiosity-popular lure shows with tamer content. It was a malignant act and as the smut increases in their content as the ratings increase, it's clear that the network has an agenda. If the shows became popular without the smut, why add it? The shows graphic escalation of smut writing and features are actually overdone and a complete turn off even to adults; especially to adults because such forward non-innuendo is considered tiresome, overdone. It's more like a high-school attempt to overtalk sex. And that's something that kids might be prone to do if urged.

TruTV is up to no good and I'm calling them on it. Enough is enough. Leave kids the FUCK alone. Do we as a culture imagine for one minute that kids completely deprived of sexualizing would somehow fail to figure out how to reproduce? So why push something on kids that's going to happen on their own time anyway? Why? Because perverts want kids sexualized so they don't fear when adults approach to molest them or otherwise take sexual advantage of them. Way to go TruTV. Assholes.

Well "Admiral", did you watch the link to the show that aired at 4pm on a school day mashed between tamer rated kid-lure type shows?

You still refuse to answer the question. Why is that?

Put a parental lock on your cable and stop being so lazy!

Everything else is moot.

Erect penises and referencing them as “schlongs” & “whangers” is explicit material; which is disallowed on TV 14 rating.

Says you, citing imagination. This after you ignored the shows rating, the word WARNING blazing in red in 50 point font. And explicit warning that the shows content were graphic.

Your willful ignorance doesn't constitute an FCC violation. It means you need to take some personal responsibility.

Worse, it was shown sandwiched between tamer rated kid-lure shows at 4pm on a school day.

Thr
FCC needs to fine that network.

The show isn't a kids show. There no such thing as a 'kids lure' stnadard of regulation by the FCC. You made that up, citing your imagination.

And your imaginary 'kids lure' standard will be ignored by the FCC just like your willful ignorance will.

Well "Admiral", did you watch the link to the show that aired at 4pm on a school day mashed between tamer rated kid-lure type shows?

There isn't a single kids show in the entire Tru-TV line up.

Take some personal responsibility and stop demanding that the FCC do the editing that you won't do yourself. Its your TV. You're responsible for what's on it.

Then they broke that solemn oath by following Saul Alinsky’s plan to destroy it (numbered below). 1. Healthcare - Control healthcare and you control the people 2. Poverty - Increase the poverty level as high as possible; poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live. 3. Debt - Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty. 4. Gun Control - Remove the ability of the citizens to defend themselves from the government. That way you are able to create a police state. 5. Welfare - Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income). 6. Education - Take control of what people read and listen to - take control of what children learn in school. 7. Religion - Remove the belief in God from the government and schools. 8. Class Warfare - Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to tax the wealthy

No, it wasn't. Tru-TV doesn't have a single kids show in its line up. You made that up.

Nor is 'kid lure' an FCC standard or any standard of regulation. You made that up too.

And the show was rated TV-14, which you ignored.

The show had the word WARNING in giant, 50 point bright red font, which you ignored.

The show described its content as 'graphic', which you ignored.

And neither your imagination nor your willful ignorance create an FCC violation. Take some personal responsibility.

Did you watch the link in post #102? Explicit or not? TV 14?

4pm on a school day on a kid-lure network?....

*crickets*

"Kid lure' being your imagination. TruTV doesn't have a single kids show in its line up.

The FCC isn't going to punish TruTV because you imagined something.

The FCC will do nothing as you were suffeciently warned and provided enough information. You simply chose to ignore it. And the FCC won't punish TruTV because of your willful ignorance either.

TV-14 is the highest rating before TV-MA. You were warned of crude humor unsuitable for children. You ignored the warning. The even put a giant WARNING sign at the beginning of the show. You ignored that warning too. They warned of graphic content. You ignored that warning too.

And TV-14 absolutely includes crude humor.

TV-14: Programs with this rating contain crude humor, drug/alcohol use, moderate language, strong violence (may include some amounts of blood) and moderate suggestive themes or dialogue.Which is what the show included.

Your refusal to take any personal responsibility for what's on your own TV doesn't create a crisis for the FCC. They will do nothing, as the fault here lies entirely with you. You failed your grandchildren. Not the FCC.

TruTV is clearly a kid-lure network or something.

Yeah, Sil insists that they 'rebranded' from a family friendly network to the comedy channel they are now.

Before they were TruTV...it was CourtTV. Nothing says 'family friendly' like CourtTV.

Sigh.....it brings back memories of being a kid, eating Cherrios out of a bunt cake pan while sitting infront of the Court TV on Saturday mornings, watching as a nurse described fecal matter in the victim's ear canal before having the rape kit she collected entered into evidence.

Those were the days.

Duly noted. So TruTV in no way shape or form should have young viewers watching in the afternoons, shows like The Carbanero Effect, Impractical Jokers, Hack My Life or Paid Off because they could be shown graphic erect penises or hear unending sexual references.

I wonder if the episode of Paid Off had a category of "cunnts over Capitals" with graphic pussy images placed over cityscapes and the host laughing about "twats" and "snatch"...would it be rated TV 14 then and shown at 4pm in the afternoon between Carbanero Effect and Impractical Jokers? Your thoughts?

If only there was a way for you to block channels you found objectionable. If only...

You poor, demented thing. Those are cartoon drawings ... not engorged, ready for sex, penises.

Crude humor is part of the TV-14 rating. There's a reason that this is the highest rating for TV until you get to softcore porn or extreme violence of the TV-MA.

You simply ignored the rating, ignored the warning, and imagined that Tru-TV was 'family friendly programming'.....while straight up ignoring the fact that TruTV doesn't have a single kids show in their entire line up.

Sorry Sil.....but you had more than enough information to make an informed choice. You simple chose not to. And that's not the FCC or TruTV's problem.

That's yours.
