I have been saying it for quite some time now. Finally, Australians are beginning to realize it as well.

Debate in Australia about Chinese influence has been sparked by a recording that surfaced last week in which Labor senator, Sam Dastyari, can be heard contradicting his party’s position on the South China Sea, as well as the revelation that he tipped off a Chinese political donor, Huang Xiangmo, that his phone was probably being tapped by security agencies.
Chinese influence on Australia is 'fabricated' by media, China claims

There is a serious allegation that Sam Dastyari backed China's stance on the South China Sea, and he's linked to a Chinese doner. Sam Dastyari has quit the Australian Senate since the revelation. Chinese political donor Huang Xiangmo, the billionaire Yuhu Group founder, has also resigned as head of China's premier support group in Australia. I think the Aussie government needs to shut down all pro-China advocacy groups in Australia, which are funded by Beijing, such as the Australian Council for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of China (ACPPRC).
