Let's be honest, she is getting up in age. Doesn't mean she should be attacked for it or made fun of, but she should for the good of the party look at her own mortality. We saw it with McCain as well. She has referred to Trump as Bush more than once. It's embarrassing when done so many times and everyone sees it. There is a reason so many younger generation Democrats want to see fresh blood in the party (hopefully not socialists).

If the good Lord blesses me with a long life and I am in my 80's, I would hope I take the honourable action and pass the torch to someone younger and more vibrant and try and live out my life with my family and loved ones. Doesn't mean I give in, age is just a number and many can remain very sharp and focused, but, if I am not at my best, the country deserves those who are. There's no shame in aging, I do think it's inexcusable to remain in a position when you know you are not at full capacity.

She did say "mother," and she immediately corrected herself to say "Mueller." Everybody has slipups of that sort. I don't think it fitting to make something of them when the speaker makes correction immediately, or even some time after the fact while at the same time "owning" the fact that they misspoke. Had she said "mother" and kept going without amending herself, then, sure, one can legitimately make something of it, how much being dependent on a variety of other factors and patterns. At the end of the day, not stuttering and/or misspeaking are not, in and of themselves, disqualifying factors as goes one's mental acuity and corresponding fitness for holding high public office and aptly performing one's thus appertaining duties.
